Professor Keith Mathieson leads research on implantable optoelectronic devices for interfacing with neural systems. His work focuses on micro‑fabricated devices to record and stimulate activity in the brain, supported by a ten‑year Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies award for neurotechnology.
